Would you like to take your family out to the ballpark and learn how to help the world’s malnourished kids at the very same time? This Sunday, May 6, UNICEF USA is teaming up with the Chicago White Sox to offer baseball fans a chance to have fun and learn how to get active and save lives with UNICEF Kid Power.
At 1:10 PM, the White Sox will take on the Minnesota Twins, but you’ll want to arrive early to check out all the activities planned as part of this special Chicago White Sox Family Sunday, sponsored by Coca-Cola.
Before and during the game, the Xfinity Kids Zone will offer baseball-themed interactive games, a chance to meet the White Sox mascots and more, while face-painting and balloon artists will be on hand to delight younger fans. Once the game’s underway a special UNICEF Kid Power activity will get everyone in the stands up and moving to learn how easy it is to save a life when you join the Kid Power Team.
We hope you’ll join in on all the fun and stop by the UNICEF USA booth, located directly below the Xfinity Kids Zone, to find out how you can join the Kid Power Team.
If you’re looking for fun things to do after the game, here's the low-down on Chicago’s best family friendly sights—as well as a new roundup of baseball summer camps where little pitchers can go to improve their batting averages!
We hope you can join us! Purchase your discounted ticket here.
